I was passing by the thread on Gay marriage, and i though your rebuttal was very well performed, and even handed.

I'm also glad someone else feels that ignorance to the different sexual orientations, and ignorance in general is a problem, and that we have to be active in preventing it.

Lol, I was lucky I didnt' get that much homework over the holidays. Buuuut, my school started later than usual this year and the Semester would have normally been over at this time, but, not so this year. My teachers decided to hit us hard with homework the week when we came back. Well, it's back to homework for me, now. lol

I had nice work to go with my holidays. It just so happed to be math! Looks like since you got a later start, you get NICE school time to spend with teachers Just a tiny bit longer i suppose. Don't worry, i have summatives (like exams but spread out over time) for the rest of the weeks i'm back because of all the classes split each one into each week and then i have exams. Homework for you, work for me, we're even Have fun~

Anyway, in all seriousness, in Carl Sagan's the "Dragons of Eden", which is basically a collection of coherent and intelligent speculations on the development of human intelligences, Sagan does comment on how cultures all around to world have some form of fear in regard to reptiles... Also he mentions how baboons have an innate fear of snakes. Which leads back to the whole dragons in culture thing. I think the whole "Dragons" idea came from some of the old reptiles or the unearthing of dinosaur bones by the ancient cultures.

Am I am here to give you that clearer idea... or at least I hope. Well, actually, it becomes "fuzzy" there. You see, the government of the group which was attacked could, by definition, call it terrorism because it affected, and ended, civilians lives.

Though, arguably, some people believe that the intention determines whether a crime is a crime. Also, there still has to be a political or ideological gain which the group could achieve, and coerce, from either the population or the government, through the violence.

So, sometimes terrorism is defined based on point of view. Actually, that is a good question, one that I did not have in mind when writing. I was thinking of, perhapse, an attack on a military column, patrol, or something like that. I hope this gives you a clearer idea. Of course, I'm also afraid this mumbo jumbo has just made your understanding of the matter even unclearer. ' Sorry if it has.
